The United Front Games developed and Square Enix published Sleeping Dogs is receiving a fresh batch of downloadable content today in the form of The Zodiac Tournament. Players reassume the role of protagonist Wei Shen as he is sailed off to a hidden island to participate in a fighting tournament. To celebrate its release, the Sleeping Dogs team released a trailer that showcases the action players can expect.
The trailer is stylized in a 70s kung-fu grindhouse fashion, and introduces a few of the characters Wei will meet along the way. This is the second piece of substantial content that Untied Front Games/Square Enix has released for the title and its seems to be taking the same campy tongue-in-cheek approach as October’s Nightmare in North Point DLC offering. Not that we’re complaining, we think it’s pretty awesome.
The Zodiac Tournament will be available this week for 400 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360 and $4.99 on the PS3 and PC.
