Hey friends. It's the start of the week, and what better way to celebrate the occasion than a new episode of Saturday Morning Arcade LIVE!? If you didn't join us this past Saturday (02/23/13), you missed a lot. But don't worry, we have you covered. Below you can check out the archived MixCloud version below, or you can listen to the zaniness over HERE.
This week we reminisce about playgrounds, become paranoid over the Kinect, wonder what the deal is with Australia, overlook rumble's slippery slope, share our thoughts on the Monster Hunter 3U demo, go through the monthly PSN Plus offers and fan over InJustice. There's also some League of Legends talk but I don't understand a word of it. Maybe you will?
This episode also marks the first time we recorded live from the Saturday Morning Arcade Club House. It's a change from our home at CFRE, but it's an alternative we've been discussing for a while. You will still be able to hear our sweet sweet voices on their fine airwaves from time to time, whether it be live or simply a replay of our latest episode. Regardless, you should definitely keep an eye out on our respective Twitter accounts for those instances. If you're not into following, our lovely Facebook page has all that information and more. Please like us.
Speaking of live episodes, you can still listen in on the madness as it unfolds. On the nights when we don't broadcast live from CFRE (which will be quite often hopefully), you can check us out over at bit.ly/smaLIVE. The show will still happen Saturday nights, roughly around 10:30pm EST. You should still keep an eye out on Twitter/Facebook for the exact start times as they do vary from week to week.
Also, here's on final note of housekeeping: have you ever listened to a third season episode of Saturday Morning Arcade LIVE! and wonder "man, what is that tune that closes off the show?" Well friends, what you are hearing is a work in progress version of the Saturday Morning Arcade theme done by Jesse Jones. Jesse is a friend of the site and has appeared on a previous episode. He also makes music, some which you can check out on his SoundCloud page. We'd like to thank Jesse for his work and hopefully we'll have him on again in the future.
That seems to be it for now. SATURDAY MORNING ARCADE OUT!
