Saturday Morning Arcade just bid farewell to another exciting year in gaming, one full of surprises, head scratchers and of course, great games. 2013 was another exciting year for another reason – that being the completed launch of the next generation of consoles. With the releases of the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One, our trifecta of home gaming machines is complete once again. In extension, the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii’s reign of gaming glory are now coming to a close. It’s almost insane that they all occupied the gaming landscape for the last eight years – even more insane is the realization that some really great titles came out in that timespan as well.
To finish off the 2013 Saturday Morning Arcade Game of the Year Awards, we bring to you one final deliberation podcast – one where we reminisce and list our top ten games of the generation.
